I found this to be a most compelling video.
Labels (“fascist”, for example) don’t cross borders and cultural boundaries very accurately. In fact, they can even have opposite meanings in different contexts.
Having said that, I can’t help but notice that the US/EU/NATO installed Ukraine government is on the front lines of advancing Westernism, i.e. feminism, multiculturalism, GMOs, things which destroy more traditional societies, i.e. Leftism.
Contrast that with the explicitly Christian nature of the NAF as shown in this video, from the Cross of St. Andrew to the Cossack praying that God “send us an Orthodox Tsar.” I’m aware of the near impossibility of ever being able to comprehend events in foreign countries, or even to discern accurate data. And I admit that what goes on in Ukraine is none of my business. But an organization that uses the Cross of St. Andrew and the Ribbon of St. George, and which blesses its soldiers and prays for the restoration of an Orthodox Tsar looks like a decent outfit to me.
A prayer for the NAF: Almighty God, protect the people of the eastern Ukraine against the wickedness of the invader; defend them, we pray, against the evils of thy common enemies; and forgive them their sins as they must of necessity in wartime do things which offend thy love, as they seek to restore thy justice in their native land. This way pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
[You may want to turn off annotations in the settings. I find them to be distracting.]
